However one thing that will remain the same is that hiking will still be an activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family away from the fear of infection.
Here is the Western Cape there are numerous possibilities all within a short drive of the centre of Cape Town where you can spend the whole day away from the crowds in the fresh air.
After 30 years of hiking in the area I am still discovering new and exciting routes, with hidden caves, wonderful flora and the most amazing views.
