Overnight and full day walks at Cape Point available

A view of False Bay from Vasco Da Gama Peak

Hiking in  Cape Point Nature Reserve offers some wonderful opportunities to escape the crowds and enjoy the beauty and splendour of this area. The landscape is flatter but somehow wilder than that of Table Mountain. The views are absolutely breathtaking.

The variety of walks available include a full days circular walk beginning and ending at Cape Point itself. Or if preferred a number of shorter 1 to 2 hour walks. Shipwrecks, vast expanses of empty beach, whale watching etc are all examples of some of the attractions of a walk in the Cape Point Nature Reserve.

Mammals in the Reserve include baboons, bontebok, eland, mountain zebra and Ostrich.
