Binny

Your guide Binny Ridgway was born and bred in the English Lake District, and developed a passion for “the great outdoors” at an early age. On leaving school having studied a B Eed in physical education,, she spent 2 years travelling in Africa, before stumbling across Cape Town, and deciding to stay.

Qualified and registered as  a white water river guide, as well as an Advanced mountain walking leader, Binny has spent 20 years sharing her passion for nature with others. Her knowledge of the mountains of the Western Cape, and especially that of Table Mountain is legendary, as is her knowledge of the indigenous flora and fauna of the area.
